[2.0.11] Biter Egg spoiling while over water gets biters stuck on the water

What did you do?
Have a Biter Egg spoil in your inventory while hovering over water with Mech Armor.
What happened?
Biters will spawn from the Biter Egg in the location where I was hovering, unable to move.
What did you expect to happen instead?
I expected either the biters to die instantly, or spawn at the closest land.
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
Always.

I'm sorry, while I admit I half expected this to happen it looks like dev oversight to me....
