I tried searching for this but couldn't find a match. Why is cut/paste (CTRL-X/V) on a space platform causing the entities to delete permanently and I have to ship up new items? I noticed this on my crushers and space platform itself, but NOT on solar panels. This is very inconsistent. Is ctrl-X/ctrl-V supposed to work for space platforms or not? I would hope it could work and the station just decons then rebuilds, but apparently that only works on SOME entities. Is there a reason for this? I assume this is a bug due to inconsistent behavior.
Expected behavior: CTRL-X a solar panel, move it somewhere else and ctrl-V place it. Works as expected. New solar panel is rebuilt from solar panel in inventory
,
Inconsistent behavior: CTRL-X a crusher, ctrl-V, rotate, and place where you want it. Only get's a ghost as no item is in hub inventory to palace.
NOTE: I sent up exactly the number of items i needed in rockets, so i have no spares of anything except platform.
2.0.18 Cut/Paste on space platform deletes (some) entities and not others
Re: 2.0.18 Cut/Paste on space platform deletes (some) entities and not others
EDIT: I just sent up two new crushers to replace the ghosts. After delivery, i now have the two crushers installed as well as two additional crushers in the hub inventory. I can confirm there were no crushers in inventory prior to sending two new ones up. I can also confirm they did NOT build the ghosts. But now that two new crusher's have arrived, i have two extra that appeared from nowhere. Attaching save file, although it is AFTER the two new crushers arrived as i don't have a save before then with the ghost issue.

Apologies, i found it. An inserter grabbed them and was mid-swing holding the items. Man that is way too hard to see...
