[2.0.15] Temporary grey screen

Post by kireitonsi »

When I tried to open the game I got this screen one time. I think it has something to do with discord (maybe rich presence or overlay?) and my internet connection being poor. Uncertain how it could be replicated.

Hello, thanks for the report.
Was the screen just gray, or did "Application is not responding" pop-up? Did it resolve itself or did you have to kill Factorio and start it again?

It wasn't just grey, it had a message. I thought I attatched the image, perhaps I didn't. It did resolve itself after a few minutes, and I could hear the audio still playing while it showed. I did not have to kill factorio, and it wasn't the "application is not responding" type of grey

Here, it should be attatched now

Oh, I see, thanks.
That is Discord Overlay error message. We don't integrate Discord in any way and it is injecting its overlay into Factorio process. So that's Discord issue or bug.
