[2.0.14] inserter UI unintuitively "Waiting for source items"

It is not waiting for source items but for space in the destination.

I found it out in this more complicated setup where it confused me:

In this setup the inserter is "Waiting for source items", but the source items are there and the destination needs them.

It will start working once the destination clears the copper ore in the output. This should be noted on the inserter. I thought it was an inserter-sleep bug again, but it is a UI bug.

Thanks for the report. It's waiting for source items because the fuel inventory could accept more fuel.

But if I restrict the inserter to only move copper bacteria, it still waits for source items. Isn't that a bug? Or at least unintuitive?

Wouldn't it be better if the inserter said why doesn't it move the Cu bacteria, when it is restricted to only move the Cu bacteria? Or is that too much effort? Doesn't fit the codebase?

If I do fill up the Nutrient in the target, it finally says Target full.
