[1.1.61] No enemy bases

On a multiplayer server I joined recently the host said he had enabled biters but we never found any (even after venturing out 1000s of meters). I made a copy of the savegame and grabbed the map exchange string and imported it into the new freeplay setup screen and confirmed there are no biters in the preview even though the settings show that biters are enabled.

If I grab on a slider (like "enemy bases: size") and move it one tick mark and then back again and release it, the preview updates and this time does generate biter nests.

No idea how this happened but it seems like there might be a bug (or the map exchange string was tampered with).

Thanks for the report. The server host changed the starting area to 10'000%. The maximum the GUI lets you select is 600% so they must have modified it before making the exchange string which they then made into a map.

With that size of a 'starting area' you'll start to see biters around the 13'000 tile distance from the start of the map.
