Fast replaced medium power poles don't connect

Step 1: Start like this, with 2 small power poles that don't. Step 2: Fast replace both of them with medium power poles. For some reason, they don't connect. Step 3: Mine one of them, then re place it. Now they connect!

I have attempted to replicate this in other locations, but it doesn't work. However, I have replicated it nearly half-dozen times with those 2 power poles. I suspect it has something to do with the connections with the other power poles.

Thanks for the report however this is working as intended: fast-replacing power poles preserves the wire connections so it doesn't mess up wires you may have specifically setup (such as for power switches).

This could be added as a toggle option. For me, this is quite annoying too
