[16.4] Game crashes at 87% whe loading-Linux

Hie,
Yesterday I downloaded the latest version of the game. Though when I try to lunch the game it crashes at 89%. I have no idea why as my computer isn't overloaded at all, please help. My system is Voyager 16.04.3 GS Gamer based on Ubuntu 16.04.3.
PS: I didn't link any save files or mod because I haven't been able to play.

Hello. The log has to be somewhere. It should be in ~/.factorio/factorio-current.log on Linux: https://wiki.factorio.com/Application_d ... _directory

Your graphics solution is not suited for high resolution sprites, try setting the graphics quality to normal: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9300.

Are you sure? Because I have a 4-core 3.2GHz processor, 8G of RAM, an SSD (on which Factorio is installed) and a GTX Geforce 930M.

You run factorio on the cpu internal graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 520, but even if you run it on your dedicated card it would not be suitable either.

Side note, but it seems you havean nvidia optimus laptop. If you want to actually use the nvidia gpu on linux, you should check out bumblebee: https://bumblebee-project.org/

Thanks I actually only just had reinstalled Linux when I made my first post (like a few minutes) and hadn't noticed my GPU wasn't activated! Thanks you very much for helping me and I hope I didn't made you loose your time too much :/
