I've been encountering low memory errors since 0.15.18 was released; now they are more frequent. I have 8GB of RAM on my system; I pulled up Task Manager and at the startup screen Factorio is using about 1.16GB. When I load my savefile it goes up to 2GB and then I get a crash. The memory issues seem to be related to research; I had just completed one of the infinite researches and the base had settled down, and everything was fine. Then I started a new worker robot speed and everything went to crap.

Re: [0.15.19] game crashes on startup with low memory error
Your graphics card is reporting 64 MB of dedicated video memory - which is 448 MB below the minimum required to play the game.
You'll need to get a better graphics card.

If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
Re: [0.15.19] game crashes on startup with low memory error
I ended up getting a new PC that has 128MB of dedicated video memory and my save file loads fine:

Is the additional shared system memory compensating for the lack of dedicated memory here? As expected, I can't use the high-res graphics but everything runs at 60/60 now, so I'm happy camper.
