[0.9.8] Poor astronaut drowned
Generated a map with medium water settings, and my poor astronaut started in the middle of a lake with only enough dirt for his feet.

Wrong search terms. Bug in my attempt to find a duplicate.
Re: [0.9.8] Poor astronaut drowned
I would really call this more of a sub bug of the impossible start bug. Which is a very annoying bug. I don't want to regenerate 10 times if I have hard map conditions.
Re: [0.9.8] Poor astronaut drowned
It is not a bug to start at an isle, it's just unclear how to solve that. A boat? Bridge? Algorithm which guarantee to land on a big enough island? Many options.
That's the point. It take a bit time. This is alpha. The solution is to restart yet.
I understand, that it doesn't make you happy, the same is with me.

Re: [0.9.8] Poor astronaut drowned
I am not unhappy. I was just reporting an odd occurrence. I tend to restart until I see something I like anyway. I doubt you want to go to the trouble of making him able to swim; that would lead to too many complications.
