CREATOR MODE: Player designed tutorials and campaign scenarios.

Making a successful tutorial and campaign has been a uniquely tough challenge for Factorio.

At the same time, it could be a magnificent challenge for players, giving them a purpose and competition that can keep us engaged for thousands of hours designing and playing Factorio. This could easily become the next major evolution of Factorio.

What I propose is to give *us* the job of creating it:

- Slightly improve the tools that were created to aid developers in the design of the 0.17 tutorial/campaign so that they become usable by users.

- Add a new tutorial/campaign creator mode.

- In this mode you can create a scenario. A scenario is clearly identified upon creation as a tutorial or campaign.

- Scenarios are joined into an ordered Tutorial or Campaign series.

- A Scenario, Tutorial or Campaign is tagged to identify the Factorio versions it supports (i.e.: 0.15-0.17).

- A scenario can start with a blank slate, a preconstructed initial factory, or have the ability to "inherit the factory/world" from a previous scenario playthrough.

- Scenarios, Tutorials and Campaigns can be *liked* by players.

- Scenarios, Tutorials and Campaigns can have tags to allow searching for them by topic and/or popularity.

- Scenarios, Tutorials and Campaigns can be signed by players. This will give recognition to the designers of the best ones.

- Upon 1.0 release, developers would include in the game not only an official Tutorial and one or more official Campaigns (if they still feel the need for them), but also access to the player designed Scenarios, Tutorials and Campaigns.

With a Creator mode like this I could totally imagine well known YouTubers like Nilaus and KoS creating magnificent Tutorials, DeathWorld experts creating fascinating Campaigns, and regular players tackling such things once they run out of other things to try... and in so doing making the game engaging for a much longer time.

Best of all there would be no guesswork as to what is good... Player likes would clearly identify the best and searches based on topic plus popularity would let us easily find the tutorial or campaign to play next.

Making the new Creator mode would not be a trivial job, but its potential is huge.
