About the adaptation of pymod building upgrades:
Most mk1 machines double their crafting speed while upgrading to mk2,but some are triple or quad.
I have to make big changes when upgrading the production line from mk1 to mk2.
So I suggest all the machines' crafting speeds change to mk1 0.5,mk2 1,mk3 2 mk4 3 or 1-2-3-4.

now the machines in pyro mod is 0.5 1 2 3
while the hpf is 0.5 1.5 2.5 3.5
and automated factory is 1.5 2.5 3.5 4.5
and ball mill mk2 is quad speed than mk1 jaw crusher mk2 is triple speed than mk1

Isn't it the goal to have to tear everything up and reconfigure it every time anything changes?

even tho i was obsessive with Angels smelting (raw into processed into pellets into ingots) direct insertion, and waiting for the tech to upgrade all to the same speed, this would be my least concern in pY, as the machines are all huge in footprint and i doubt I can puzzle them together like I did with the processing machines into pellet presses into furnace in Angels.

At the moment its just about getting the ratios right, i dont care if i need 7 of X into 11 of Y.
Is it really that bad? some reciepes still need balance, imho crafting speed balance should be lower priority
