Your suggestions are ok man. We will try to make it compatible with angels...but remember it ISNT our priority here. Since the beginning i warned all you that this mod is dependent of Bob´s mod. Compatibility with angel´s mods may come, but before that we will make sure things works nice and well as planned first.aklesey1 wrote:I hope you haven't tired with the list of proposals? I consider that everything listed above urgent and won't make special problems everything to realize, we can consult with Arch666angel if we need? because replacing the elements can go such as from ur mod and from angel mods

Re: [MOD 0.14.x] pY Coal Processing
I agree, i think angel mods makes bob mods more better and gets us new experience with new possibilities
I see may things that is connected with coal anyway are connected with a wood and its farming, angel bio processing mod exploits this idea

Yes Compatibility with Angels will come but it will be a lot more work since angels already has a lot of the items/fluids in PYC.
In the mean time how about another pre-release

Thanks, in the mean time i'm begining to wait for factorio 0.15 it will be one of biggest releases i think
Coal tile hhmmm nice what i can say its looks quite good, but if I fill in these big area around myself that it will look as an oil slick

Emmmmm, i'm some confused, I have just looked at recipes for your machines and was convinced that will be required to me and i'll need chemical plants and electorlysers that's funny, may u'll connect technologies to their parent technologies from bob mods, that everything was clear to all
I'll ned may may brass and zinc but small count of invar and nickel, not so convenient but i'll endure this
I already begin to get used that I will need creosote for electric poles

Adding bobs-mods changes a lot of the recipes/ingredients... If there is anything you feel out of place let us know!aklesey1 wrote:Emmmmm, i'm some confused, I have just looked at recipes for your machines and was convinced that will be required to me and i'll need chemical plants and electorlysers that's funny, may u'll connect technologies to their parent technologies from bob mods, that everything was clear to all

Re: [MOD 0.14.x] pY Coal Processing
This is all good stuff! I'm digging in to see how I can expand my compatibility mod to handle this. I'll finally get to stop flaring tar!
I do have a really quick suggestion that would be fun. Please model a dirt pile (ie. http://www.ecfvp.org/images/posts/content/dirt_pile.jpg) that can act as a big chest to dump tailing dust into. Rather than warehouses full of (at the moment) useless tailings dust, we can just pile it on the ground!

With the actual release, you can use the tailings dust to make coal-tile
I would LOVE to model big piles of minerals...but the moment we set it as a chest/warehouse, you can put everything inside it. If there´s a way to lock the resource you can put inside it...

Re: [MOD 0.14.x] pY Coal Processing
I wouldn't worry about whether or not people put other kinds of materials in it. If people want to cheese their storage by storing stuff in the dirt pile, who cares?
One thing I noticed is my power house has been running with 100 degree water with no ill-effects. Is this a bug or is the cooling tower not necessary right now?

Re: [MOD 0.14.x] pY Coal Processing
Probably a bug, the power-house should accept only cold water.StormTAG wrote:One thing I noticed is my power house has been running with 100 degree water with no ill-effects. Is this a bug or is the cooling tower not necessary right now?

Also I have an idea for the tailings-dust pile. I doubt it will work but I willl give it a try
Re: [MOD 0.14.x] pY Coal Processing
Both? O-o power house should take cold water, deliver hot water as waste to cooling-towers convert it back to cold water in a closed system o-o.Nexela wrote:More like a little bit of both

Arrrgghhh... To do up the math on this is gonna be interesting.
Before I spend the time on it, have you guys mathed out what 1 unit of SynGas, Refined SynGas and Combustion Mixture are worth as far as J goes?

You can use methanol and hydrogen to burn in the turbines too.
If i remember well, each fuel accepted in these turbines have a efficiency level (the more refined, better it will burn and less will be consumed). But turbines as generators will consume based on the load they need to feed.

Re: [MOD 0.14.x] pY Coal Processing
What game do you think we're playing here?
I spent like 10m putting together a 38.5 MW hydrogen station. Powered by one pump no less!
http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656 ... 0368792254
http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656 ... 0368791412
The only input is water from one pump.
Could rubber stamp these all the way to 1 GW but I think you get the picture.
