For those who are not often on forums, is there a way to know when mod will be out (or only important updates)?

Currently i either check on mod portal or come here, i'm fine with waiting but i actually just need a notification in the end.
Is there a mailing list ? A thread we can subscribe where only release are notified ? A "dummy" mod version which will be updated when it's released ?

If any of these already exists sorry :D

PS. I'm interested in pre-alpha testing with NDA if you need :lol:

Unfortunatelly, theres no date to release because i do that in my free time. When its done, its done. This thread is about updates and such to people know progress are being made, but since its a very hard mod to make due the complicated sprites (creatures and such are way hard to model and animate than machines) and add it all to the other pymods and compatibilities takes time. Probably after release will come tons of updates to fix things and such until become stable. When i have an alpha version , i will say.

For now, i can say the mod is reaching 40%

I wasn't really asking for a release date, i know such things are overly complicated and it needs to stay an enjoyable leisure anyway. More, a way to not "miss the Day". If coming around from time to time is what's supposed to be done then i'll do that.

From the few thousands hours i played the game, i can safely say that your mods are the best around (better not mixed with others, actually, as they sometime ruin the tasty complexness you provide). I'm fine to wait, keep up the excellent work !

Have you considered setting up a RSS feed subscribed to PyMods subforum ?

(This would be nice to have for the Mod Portal Downloads page - or even maybe bypassing the RSS entirely, as the Mod Portal already has a Subscription system - but so far, for comments only...
Would you mind asking Factorio devs for this feature ?)

I already am subscribed, but it's hard to make differences between small fry infos / chitchats and important updates. It's in no way a big deal anyway, coming here from time to time is fine, was just to know if there was a possible way i missed. :)

The plants in that building look a bit more stylized than your graphics usually do. It's a neat change of pace.

...So dancing armored tigers are apparently a thing. They seem needed for their carapaces.

The carapaces are very important. :lol: :lol: All stuff in that mod can supply your base with something. :)

I am using all 8 mods of pyanodon. How do you turn petri dishes (py alien life) into incubated petri dishes?

edit:also i need the duralumin (py raw ores) to build the moss farm (py alien life) to create research, and duralumin need to be researched itself.
