[1.11.9] Problem with changing settings in LTN ingame

Post by Quttu »

Hi hope someone can help me with my problem

I wanna make LTN update more often, cause im running a LCC network, and atm i'm running Iron ore so 4000 per train
but i always run out before it notices cause it doesnt update fast enough

When i try to change settings in the save im running "incircled blue" after i change Update freq to 1 and Updates per tick to 5 or anything else, and press Confirm, after i leave the mod settings menu in my game, and go in its always reverted back to 2 / 1 again :/
How can i fix this?

side note changed the settings to 1/5 before loading the game and its set keeps those settings, its when i load my current save that it reverts back to standard settings

Apparently that's a bug with all mod settings.
You have to completely close the menus for them to update.

Depends on base design, number of stops, number of trains and to a degree train size.

I'd set update frequency as slow as possible. Just shy of open requests piling up faster than LTN can send out trains will yield best performance.

Your requester is set to only request when it's empty. It wants 4k and only requests when it needs 4k. Set it to at least wanting 8k with 4k threshold.

On another note, LCC are terrible for performance. I only use those for delivering fuel to depots and ammo, repair packs to the front line.
For ores I use at least 8 wagons and 4-6 wagons for everything else.
