Providers stations cannot be disabled

Post by Jacob_SVK »

HI, I have problem ..

If I want to turn off any providing station, after setting the switch to off, this station will continue to work

Turning off the station works only on the requesting stations.

Thanks!

Best regards Jacob.

The only signal needed to make an LTN station a provider is the item signal from the storage chests. To disable this, you need to either provide a "provider threshold" signal with a very large number (that is always larger than the number of items in the chest), or use a combinator to prevent the storage chest signal from reaching the LTN station (so that it thinks it has 0 items available).

Thanks for the advice, but then I don't understand why there is an on/off slider if it can't deactivate the station.

Because it's not needed.
Anything above provide threshold is provided. Should be easy enough to understand.
