0.18.24 Desync attempting to log into multi user game

Desyncs in modded game will be ignored most of the time, until it is clearly proven that the desync is not caused by scripting.

0.18.24 Desync attempting to log into multi user game

Client attempted to download the map two times join multi-user game with no players on the map. Attempting to attach generated desync file (173m), as an attachment.

Edited same date 1:19pm: Error parsing server response attempting to upload the file.

Edited same date 2pm: I can use peazip to split the 173m file into 15m pieces that can get uploaded. Peazip naming convention is to add "-1.zip.###" the original file name, where "###" is the files sequence. The form will not allow uploading file names ending with .001, .002 ect, so I added .zip to the end of each of file to get them uploaded. There should be 12 filed total uploaded. Sorry about this but this is known issue with the ISP I am stuck with at the moment. Files 11 and 12 will be uploaded as an attachment.

I went through the instructions, and tried uploading the file, got an error uploading. Will keep trying to uploading under the same thread. I may have to split the file up into smaller pieces to get it uploaded.

Don't upload to the forum, upload to a filehoster.

Why are you creating a mosaic?
  1. Get the desync report
  2. Do not rename it
  3. Do not break it into pieces
  4. Upload the single original file to a file hoster
  5. Post the public link to it
?!

Server was reset, and that apparently fixed the issue.

quick summary for me in the future:
- there are 4 diffs around near blueprint-entity rotation-point
- there is 1 diff near equipment-grid of locomotive at {183, 454}
- a lot of mods
- a lot of custom script

I have an issue with how the ISP is configured by the local ISP provider. This has been an issue has been documented in viewtopic.php?f=189&t=64926. I did address this issue with the ISP, and and they did make some configuration changes on their end, which made things better, but it is not entirely fixed. The ISP vendor lazy about how they do things since there are no other viable ISP allowed to sell internet services in the area where I live. If I have to upload a very large file, beyond the capability of the ISP internet upload settings, I go to the library and do it from there. Currently the library is closed due to COVID-19, so splitting the file up, uploading it in pieces, and providing links and explanation of how to reassemble it is the best I can do at the moment.

Regarding, the questions boskid is asking for,

- The game is listed on the multiplayer portal as "Redmew = Schallfalke Dungeons" with about 109 hours played as of this writing. I went link dead, i.e. lost connection to the server while trying to build something. Attempting to log in created this issue.

- Later, after the server was reset, we did optimize trains, address a train traffic jam that may of been a contributor locomotive issue.

- There are a lot of mods, and they are listed in the description of the game.

- I am aware that there are numerous scrips, but joining the game a few hours into the game, I was not involved in design or development of the scripts.

I did notify the desync issue to Redmew, and provided links to them as to you. Redmew did address the issue, and rebooted either the game or server. This did resolve the issue.

Since the size of the file is beyond, 100m, please set up an area where I can upload to, if not the forums, and I will hang on to it, and happily do so once I can get access to an internet connection which allows uploads of files greater then about 100m, after mass medical quarantines are lifted and establishments like schools and libraries are reopen to the public.
