Re: super compact blue factory

Okay, here it is. It took me a heck of a lot more revising and tweaking than I thought it would. At one point I got frustrated and shoved in one more smelter than the calculations asked for. Enjoy the extra iron, I guess... Input must be from the top for iron/coal, and can be either from the side or bottom for the copper/coal belt. A few of the red belts might not be necessary, but, like I said, I was frustrated by the end of this. I think that, without exception, the inserters are the lowest level they can be (and I count long inserters as a higher level) and still have the complex work. Here it is, the raw-material-only, max production, 20x20 Blue Juice Factory!Image Image

Okay, now make it output instead of going into a chest so that it can be taken straight to the labs :P

Nice. I like how you use one inserter to insert three different items (above the blue science assembler).

I don't understand what the long handed inserter below the rocket assembler does. Is it just a leftover from some modification?

To clean little, I merged these two topics of the same content. Please just continue here.

Concerning the new design, it is so fucking amazing! :) You are doing a really great job optimizing the construction. I also really like your one-side stop at the belt transporting iron and coal, using the underground belt feature/exploit.

Fix Name of the Topic please. also I think it would be rightly if you add my design to the top Message

I set your name as the name of the topic, it is not changed in all posts, but it is used on the main page and in the first post. So you should be well credited for this work now :).

I just was thinking that firs design was made by rymn and his design is located on first Post. I thought it would be better to make Name of the topic "Super compact blue FACTORY" And divide first message rymn design and after Vel-Master design.
It's just my Idea=)

actually rymn swiped this design from kwiz and used it to get kwiz to join the forum

Good to see you buddy
from the second page,

and kwiz, if you read this, do you have any suggestions for a simple layout that a novice can easily work with?

so far all my factorys start out okay but get too big and too messy for my liking...

about 1.5 per minute. Not maximum, but quite compact 13x18.

But at this moment I have made an upgrage! I think it's new record! same square but max production (blue science assembling machine always has enought materials) !!!
New sizes 14x17 !!!

That's beautiful. Do you not prefer to have it autofeed into a lab?
