Regulating Lab Input/Science Pack Output
There are 6 input chests to the right for 6 science types, the rocket science packs can be directly fed to the outer belt at any point. Scales relatively easy just blueprint the end, snip it off, then blueprint and replicate the center x times... and put the end back on. The actual lab design means little except I needed to feed the single packs onto two sides of a belt so this is what I came up with. There's plenty of potential to make it less wasteful the belts don't need to loop.
But the working parts are what I wanted to share.
How it works:
A green wire links the chests here at the labs, then goes to the output inserters of all assemblers making science packs.
The inserters from the science pack assemblers are ordered to work only when there is 0 (<1) of their respective type of science packs in the chests, as pictured below.
