Made a Let's Play video with the music in the background for it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDpWkbx5mrs
Note: People have been reporting issues with the ambient sound being either too sparse or the playing volume being too low. Sorry but this is an in-game issue and there's nothing I can do to fix it at the moment! The Factorio team seems to be aware of the problem so hopefully they'll get it working soon. (If not already.) You can preview the music, if you want to listen to it on its own, though. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... sFje7YYD05

Introducing an ambient music addon mod for Factorio by Tangerine Music Labs! Hours of ambient music, originally improvised in a live setting for a fluid, expansive, and immersive experience. (This mod does not replace the old music -- it appends to it.)
Will be adding more music to it as time goes on! Style is similar to Tangerine Dream or Phish. Sort of a mix of ambient music, IDM, and a little bit of classical here and there. All tracks are original works, made up on the spot.
Most tracks are also 15-20 minutes or longer for extra immersion. This is our live soundtracking process in a nutshell:
Live Performance - Quick Record/Edit/Master - Upload
So we can get a lot of music in a very short amount of time, and be always up to speed. Ryan will be live broadcasting all of the original performances (on his ROLI Seaboard) on Periscope or FB Live before going into the final upload. Subscribe and follow us on YouTube to keep up with the latest!

Re: [MOD 0.13.x] Ambient Jams Mod (Music)
I liked the music in this mod and have been using it in all versions... (Just editing the info.json file, updating the "factorio_version": line to the current version. (0.14, 0.15, or 0.16)
However in the latest Factorio version 0.16, this mod is not even displayed in the mod list.
(either with the info.json for 0.15 which should show the mod as outdated [red] or when I have edited the info.json to 0.16)
I have looked at the files and everything LOOKS fine, but I am no expert. I dont understand why the mod is not being shown in the game mod list screen.
So for some reason Factorio is ignoring or blocking this mod from being displayed on the mod screen.
Any ideas why?

Re: [MOD 0.13.x] Ambient Jams Mod (Music)
Update... When I said it would not show in the mod list, I meant when I copied the mods from 0.15 folder and dropped them into 0.16.
I NEVER realized that In the Factorio Game I could access the Mod website and display all the mods in an In-Game list.
(I always visited the website and downloaded mods and dropped them in the Mod folder.)
When I try to download the mod in the game mod downloader it says it does not have a version number. I will check if that's the problem later.
In any case, I simply combined this music pack mod with another and rewrote the .lua, Problem solved.
