Long Description

Hello all!

I created this mod to add snow terrain to Factorio. There are two types of snow terrain in this mod: snow and dark snow. They are both recolored versions of the sand and dark sand tiles, but I think its very fitting considering biomes like cold deserts.

I often find it difficult to locate snow terrain on usual settings, so I advise using minimal water and low terrain segmentation if you would like a snowy world!

Why not snow and ice instead of light snow and dark snow? Dark snow makes no sense.

Sorry, it seems I left out a necessary function. I will have a new version uploaded later tonight with some pictures.

Some intended features I want to add at some point:
[*] Polar Water
[*] Ice (can't build building on it, but can walk across it.)

Ice is on its way. The dark snow stems from the fact that sand has light and dark variants.

you can achieve this by using:

      "item-layer",
      "resource-layer",
      "doodad-layer"
    },

which effectively blocks resources from spawning on it, terrain decoration from spawning on it, and the player from building on it; but you can walk on it.

Theoretically, this mod should be updated to 0.14, but I was unable to find any snow in my world. It could just be bad luck, so I'll be posting the version here anyways!
