We found that a lot of time was spent running between areas of the base, around obstacles (pipes, solar panels, water, etc), and between far-away locations. The idea behind the mod was to allow the player to spend more time deciding what to build, and less time building it.

This mod adds 2 items to the game: Staff of teleportation, which uses Staff of teleportation charges. The only required reagent to craft these is Raw Wood.
To use the staff, select it as a tool and click somewhere on the screen. Your character will teleported there and some teleportation charges will be consumed.

There was some discussion among the people I play with about this being overpowered. In response, I've placed a limit on how far you can go with each teleport, and how often you can use the staff. Likewise, the staff is not intended for engaging / fleeing from the local wildlife.
