it changes the night vision googles to make the night time basically day time while they are being worn. it allows you to see easily while not changing the solar panels cycles. any issues with this mod please let me know so i can try and fix it.

It made me think.. why didn't I check that :D Original night vision is more eye hurt then useful.

ive run the mod on 12.0 and it works for me so it should be good for everybody. has anybody used this on mp yet?

I've updated the mod for 0.12.0 to contain proper energy values for night vision module.

thank you orzelek for that fix. you beat me to it. i was working then moving furniture since 12.0 was released and hadn't had time. ive updated the first post with the new version 0.0.2 for 12.0 and noted that 0.0.1 is for 11.0 branch as 12.0 hasnt reached kovarex stable yet

Just an FYI: you could delete the "entity.lua" file and replace the contents of the "data.lua" file with the following and get the same effect:

ok cool i had tried to do something similar but couldnt get it to work and i hadnt looked into again since the 12.0 update. been to busy playing and working

Great work on the mod, vanilla Night vision might be realistic (for all I know) but it is so annoying.

I would like to make a request though. Having night vision completely clear is actually a bit confusing. Could you make it slightly dark or slightly green? Just enough so that you know it is night time when they turn on but not enough to make anything hard to see?

Can we change the night colour without using night vision goggles? I mean, can the default night colour be less dark? I don't really like the darkness when building factories. I do want the solar panels to have no energy output though.

I haven't found anything in the files about changing the darkness itself. the only other way ive seen it changed was by increasing the light to cover more area around the player.
