Hi,

can you hide the recyling categories in crafting menu?
The first post mentioned it as solved but it isn't.

I dont think the first post mentioned it as solved.

The only way to hide them is to hide every recipe that would be in that tab. The game does not allow hiding of the tabs themselves. Hiding them from the crafting menu then means they are hidden from the recycling machines menus too.

Once upon a time I had a version that hid them, then undid them when you opened a recycling machine by clicking on it, the hid them again when you closed the recycling machine. It was such a massive performance hit, I removed the feature.

In this post, I do talk about adding a mod setting to allow people to selectively switch the tabs on and off, but I have not yet implemented that feature.

Any 1 else have a problem when using this mod and mod long reach.
https://mods.factorio.com/mods/jamesaguilar/long-reach

When i use this mod togther with long reach that mod do not work any more this mod still works.

If any 1 have tips or trick to fix this or if this is a bug in 1 of these 2 mods let me know.

Thank you for the report. But this is not a bug with my mod.

The Far Reach mod, which is pretty much the same as long reach, and has been updated very recently, works fine.

If you look at the mod portal and the discussion for long reach, people report that it stops working for quite a few mods. Changing the Long Reach mod settings seems to fix it. See: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/long-reac ... 00091547b0

I tried that with my mod installed, and the Long Reach then started working working fine.

Recycling Machines say Unknown Key by Dectorio, Angels Enhancement, Darkstar Darkstar 2 is (Darkstar Utilities), Angels logistics(this is believed to be Angels Industries), Compound-Splitters and Natural Evolution

Thanks for the report. My mod cannot find the name of these items in the language files. It therefore displays the unknown key message. You will still be able to recycle the items though.

I will consider some manual fixes for this in the 0.17 version of the mod .

Initial release for factorio 0.17
Honours the same philosophy of 0.17 assembling machines. Every level of Recycling Machine can output up to 6 ingredients (vanilla)
Exception is fluids that must use Recycling Machine Level 3
Adds Upgrade Planner compatability

I am using v0.17.1 of this mod and I can not recycle the vanilla firearms magazine. Why?

Did you start a new map with the mod enabled or did you add it after you'd already begun a map?

Can you recycle any of these (ignoring the loaders to the right of the yellow belt)?

Hey, thanks for your fast answer!

The game and mod history is this:
- Started game in fac v0.16.x without mod rm.
- Added mod rm
- Updated fac to v0.17.4 and mod rm to 0.17.1


These are the recipes available in the recycling machine in my game:

You should expect fast answers when there's a new version of the mod. I rely on people to find the bugs I haven't. :)

I've logged this as an issue https://github.com/DRY411S/Recycling-Machines/issues/49 The mod fails to recycle *some* items that are available at the start of the game if the mod is added after a game has started. You've noticed firearm magazines, from your screenshot I see yellow belt.

This *might* be because I think there is a bug in the game, or at least a feature that my mod does not cope with :) viewtopic.php?t=66302

When I start the game I receive the error attached to the post.
Dont know if it's a combined error mod, but it appear at any start of the game.
Waiting for help from you on what to do for fix it.

Thank you for the report. That looks like it's caused by a mod which has an entry missing from its language file.

What mods are you using that have 'Construction Drones'?

Klonan doesn't want to 'fix' his mod by implementing support for locale. I understand this, his mod is performing to specification, even though it's the only one I've seen like this.

I'll publish an update for this, when I also a release to fix for why recycling batteries isn't working. I haven't figured that out yet.
