Am having an issue using the floor o matic or floor be gone.
for the floor o matic i get this error
Error while running the event handler: ...
Factorio_0.10.2.10388\mods\floors.zip|control.lua:201:attempt to index field 'character' (a nil value).
If you wish i can also grab the error from the floor be gone.
What i am doing, no other mods installed, i first inserted zip with out renaming it, crashed, so then i extracted the mod from the zip, and put it into mods, it worked started up can place floors, but again floor be gone and floor o matic just cause a crash. so i tried deleting the floors folder and put the zip in while renaming it to floors, same thing as before it booted up it recognized it, but crashes when trying to use floor o matic or floor be gone.

It would appear so, as both are not causing a crash in my current save, i was in the sandbox in order to test rails and figured id test the floors as well, as it would appear that didnt go too well lol.

What would be really awesome, if you'd make this mod so that each texture can be downloaded seperately. It would just depend on a "master" mod that exposes api so you can add the texture yourself in a specific format.
As for adding/removing/modifying your own textures for this mod there is nothing stopping you. There is no need for a wrapper on top of the already existant modding api.

I tried adding this mod and even naming it floors_0.0.2 or Floors_0.0.2 in 0.10.9 and it keeps erroring about concrete floors 2.

Capitalization matters in internal references too. The mod is named "Floors" (uppercase F), but all internal references are "floors" (lowercase f).
To make it work, first change the mod name in info.json from "Floors" to "floors", then rename the mod folder to "floors_0.0.2". Then it'll work.
