It would be great if the trees from AlienPlant / Treefarm would be taken into account.

Thank you! I thought there might be a way to do that. Works perfectly. Cursed-Exp added.
If you rename "data.lua" to "data-final-fixes.lua" it should run after other mods run their data.lua file, making it compatible with all mods that add trees.

Doesn't seem to work in V13. This is just one block of code so maybe someone with more modding experience could figure this out.

Sorry it's been such a long time since I updated this mod. Finally updated the original post with proper images and updated for 0.13. Thanks Hexicube for the compatibility fix!

thank you for this very useful and wanted mod, i always hated walking through dense forests, now it's much better!

Apparently bullets use the collision box to check if they hit trees, so if you plan on using shotguns to destroy trees early game, this mod makes it much more difficult. This really ought to be added to the mod's information.
