0.3.1 Adds Dytech back to the Game.

How to install mods?

1. Download Modpack
2. Open a folder search %appdata% Open Factorio and then Mods or " C:\Users\SystemName\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\mods "
3. Open .Rar and drag an drop all files into the Factorio Mods folder.
4. Run game.

What is a modpack?
A modpack is a collection of mods all in one file to make it easier to drag an drop.
Instead of trying to download 20+ Mods with different versions.

Do i need to extract anything?
No, Just open the .Rar file and drag an drop all files out and into your mods folder and done.

What version of Factorio do i need?
Version 0.12.20 or Greater.

Difference in 3.0 & 3.1?

There is now basically Two Mod Packs.
A "Dytech" Variant and a "Default" Variant which this may be temporally.
Because big mods such as Dytech i dont like to mix with other ones so for now there separate.
| 3.1 is Dytech | 3.0 is Default |

How to play Multiplayer with version 3.1? (Tested in 12.24)

Disable the following mods " Devildog's Compatibility mod, Speed Button's, Evolution Indicator (Evo Gui) "
Then join or host a multiplayer game and you are set!

0.3.1 Has released containing Dytech, 0.3.0 Does not contain Dytech.
Both should work with Factorio 0.12.21.

In your 0.3.1 release you are missing some files from your 0.3.0 release:

- complete 5dim
- complete Bob`s
- pollution-detector
- RoadWorks

and the downloaded file has the ending ".1 Dytech" not zip.

PS: New Version of DyTech Core (1.3.3 - Dirty Water Nerf) online.

Yep i had a issue with the four i have removed. "Crafting Issues" and game crashes from road works and pollution detector.
And thanks for the tip about the dytech update.

you may want to update the devildog's compatibility patch for the dytech version it depends on a mod not included in the pack

Just tested Dytech 3.1 on Factorio 0.12.24 on Steam with Multiplayer.
It does work and passes the test.

First off, thank you for putting your effort into compiling this amazing mod pack!

I had an issue while trying to get it to work.
I had to change a line in Devildogs-Compatebility_0.0.1/info.json for this mod pack work:
From:

Code: Select all

"bobmodules >=0.12.9"
to:

Code: Select all

"bobmodules >= 0.12.9"
Notice the space between the => and the version number.

Also, is bobsmodules required for this mod pack?

3.0 is based around bobs mods, 3.1 which uses Dytech Replaces Bobs and some others for its own.
I have a couple of issues with the 3.0 version haven't updated it yet been focusing more on 3.1.

I am using the steam Factorio version. To get this to run, I took the subfolders under .12.20 out and put them into the mods folder. I took everything per instructions. The folders, zip file and the json file. When I go to generate a new game or load an existing one I get 'polution-detector lua nil value' this is the same error I get when mods don't work with the current version. Is this mod pack current?

Which version of the game are you running and what mod pack?
3.0 Reg or the 3.1 Dytech?

Fix - Disable Pollution Detector under mods or remove that mod completely.
