"Unknown Error" when uploading a mod

I'm attempting to upload my first mod, but it just won't work. Is this a common issue or am I just unlucky as usual?

Do I need a github link or something to make this work? I'm losing my mind trying to fix this.

Hi Skyshrim, I'm sorry for not getting to you earlier.

The reason the mod portal rejects your mod is a problem in your info.json: the name of your mod must contain alphanumeric characters, dash, or underscore (no space).

The mod portal should report this, but due to an error it only said "Unknown error". I have fixed this now and I apologize for the trouble.
