Unable to use Mod Portal since 0.13.10

I have had a "Notice: download failed" error when trying to update and/or install mods since .13.10. I have uninstalled all mods and even reinstalled the game from scratch. Since the devs have decided to remove the mods from the forums in .13.10 I have no way to access them. I have previously used the portal without issue until the patch. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: So as not to double post - Just to be clear. This isn't an occasional thing happening. I am completely unable to use the in game mod portal AT ALL for weeks now. It flat out will not download updates/new mods no matter how many times I've tried over multiple times of the day.

It's a known problem that is being worked on.
As a workaround you can download them directly from https://mods.factorio.com and put them in the mods folder manually.

Thank you. I was unaware that it is a known issue. I hunted around for a post about it but couldn't find one. And I was under the impression that they moved all of the mods to portal only as per a post from the devs a while back. I didn't think the mods on the site were up dated anymore.

Known issue? Occasionally, mods.factorio.com goes down too. I get the same error as well, which makes me assume that the portal is getting hammered down pretty hard.

Ok ... except this isn't an occasional thing. I have been unable to use it at all since the launch of .13.10. I have tried at least 30 times during many different times of day. I have not gotten it to work at all.

So for verification... What exactly is the known problem here?
I am seeing : "There was a mismatch on the mod portal in verifying your username and token. Please login again" whenever I attempt to use the "Mods" manager in game.

To which I do the following:

> Enter correct info
( returned to mods screen with no action ...)
> Install mods
...
(Big list appears)
> Pick a mod >INSTALL<
...
"There was a mismatch on the mod portal in verifying your username and token..."
> Enter correct info again
( returned to mods screen with no action. Mod not installed )

> Exit Game
> Reset Forums and factorio.com (update) password to be identical
> Verify both are working in Chrome
> Repeat. Identical result.

I've tested bad / wrong info which immediately redisplays the login request. It is the correct login that returns me to 'mods' with no action.

As you can guess I've spent a stupid amount of time on this bug, thinking I had misconfigured something...

This forum post is my last attempt at verifying that "No your configuration is fine, but the 'mods' button is sadly bugged in the way you describe".
