Mod Portal and Profile Issues

So I'm trying to download mods from the mod portal to manually install them. The problems I'm getting though is the the download button can't be clicked.
For profile issues, I get a 403 error any time I try to go to my profile. If I hit the back button and go to one of the Factorio websites (i.e going from a modpage to my profile and back) an error pops up saying "I don't have the required permissions to access this page".

For a bit of context behind why I'm trying to download from the mod portal instead of through the game, my friend bought me Factorio from Humble Bundle. He thought by choosing the "I don't have an account" option, Humble Bundle would send him a steam key. Instead Humble Bundle created a new steam account and added Factorio to it. So whenever I want to add or update mods, I need to logout of my main steam account and login to this new that only has factorio just for mods. I'm also unable to play multiplayer without changing my steam account.

Anyway, any help with with being able to download from the mod portal website, or accessing my profile would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. Not a perfect solution but it'll do until I get a 2nd copy of Factorio
