How to get seeds ?
I still cant find one.
Re: How to get seeds ?
Look for small gardens, they are about size of small rock so easy to miss if you dont know what you looking for. On map they are small bright green dots, special trees are bright blue dots. Then put garden into seed extractor to get seeds.
Easiest way to locate them is to use the deconstruction planner with filters on all 3 gardens and trees and just drag it over the area where you see one on the map.

Re: How to get seeds ?
Once you get some seeds from the seed extractor (make sure you use the recipe that returns seeds), each seed can be produced from the results of planting the individual seed (with a positive return). Bear in mind that the seed extractor recipe doesn't always return seeds. If it does succeed at producing seeds it makes 5, looking at the recipe it says 2-.25 for seeds being returned, the display does the math for you so a .25 return means that it produces 5 seeds 1/20th of the time...
You need LOTS of gardens to get all the seeds and there are 3 types that each return 1/3 of the possible seeds.

Re: How to get seeds ?
You just need to get enough gardens to research the advanced farming, there you can grow your own gardens, slowly but without hassle.

Gardens show up on the minimap as green dots, but unlike resource patches mousing over them won't show a number or which type of resource it is. So basically start using radars for the closer ones and then go exploring around.
If you're using Alien Biomes you're going to have a harder time though since gardens can only generate on vanilla terrain currently. It's recommended not to use Alien Biomes with Angel's Bio Processing.

I fixed the alien biomes issue some time ago.Jackalope_Gaming wrote:Gardens show up on the minimap as green dots, but unlike resource patches mousing over them won't show a number or which type of resource it is. So basically start using radars for the closer ones and then go exploring around.

What is the expected behavior for the gardens on Biomes-only terrain in that case?
