state of Bio Processing in 0.15?

Am I right in thinking that if I turn off alien artifacts in bobs enemies, then all of the alien bio recipes are useless? And the only use for red algae is calcium carbonate > alien bacteria, so Red algae farming is useless too. Is that right?

There are a few high level recipes that require artifacts, like the high level power armors and some of the gear for them. I'm not sure if turning off alien artifact drops will change those recipes or not. If it does then you wouldn't have any use for them and you could effectively ignore red algae as it has no purpose other than creating alien goop.

All that being said the other 3 types of algae still have uses outside of alien artifact production.

For me 0.4.1 worked in factorio release 0.15 - what was not working well?


I've tried to make BioProcessing 0.4.1 work in 0.16

There were a lot of issues with lacking icon_size in the .lua files so I've added them. This is a quick fix only, still need to do some testing.
