What did you do?
copied this blueprint: https://factorioprints.com/view/-OAb58mQF4oVSDWe06sL
What happened?
Both asteroid collectors didn't work, stuck at "computing navigation" with the orange wifi signal symbol flashing
What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
Somehow they just need to work?
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
always, I can "fix" it by removing the right and left pointing inserters and it's foundation, once they collector works, I can ctrl-z and they keep working

[2.0.14] Asteroid Collector gets stuck "Computing Navigation"
I tried to construct my first space platform.
When first placed, the asteroid collector will get stuck non functioning, complaining that it is "computing navigation"
If you add, or remove, a space platform foundation, it will start working as normal, and will no longer have this issue.
Seems to be repeatable, happens even on an otherwise empty space platform.
Steps to replicate:
Add enough foundation to fit an asteroid collector.
Construct an asteroid collector. It will show as "Computing Navigation" and won't collect anything. Even if it has power, it will not activate.
Adding even 1 piece of foundation to the platform will cause it to start working normally.
Attached is a small creative save-game that replicates the issue, along with a log file of my current config.
Please let me know if there's anything else I can provide.

Re: [2.0.14] Asteroid Collector gets stuck "Computing Navigation"
I have the same issue since the recent update. Sometimes it gets stuck in that mode.
[edit]
Sometimes building a new platform tile or deconstruction certain parts of the platform around the collector fixes the issue. But I cannot exactly say what causes it.

Re: [2.0.14] Asteroid Collector gets stuck "Computing Navigation"
I have the same issue. manually rebuilding collectors help. The issue is not only that collectors do not work but also that they show "computing navigation" and no place to read what it means and what to do about it.
Re: [2.0.14] Asteroid Collector gets stuck "Computing Navigation"
I encountered this too:
Manually removing it and readded it fixed it

+1
Built manually.
3 collectors out of 6 on this carbon-centric platform are stuck.

+1 same.
was able to fix 2 of them by decon and recon. But 2 stay the same.

Re: [Hrusa][2.0.14] Asteroid collector stuck at computing navigation
I was able to fix this by adding more platform, waiting for it to start working, then i can decon the unneded platform. This seems quite buggy to me.
Re: [Hrusa][2.0.14] Asteroid collector stuck at computing navigation
Got another example:
I doubt you need any more saves at this point, but I've got one set aside and can share it if needed.
Similar to what others have said, it starts working if I fill in the gap above it, e.g. bring the wall down to connect.I doubt you need any more saves at this point, but I've got one set aside and can share it if needed.
Re: [Hrusa][2.0.14] Asteroid collector stuck at computing navigation
Same here, all my asteroid collectors are sitting at "Computing Navigation" and I have to create/remove a random platform tile around them to fix it.
Re: [Hrusa][2.0.14] Asteroid collector stuck at computing navigation
Not sure if you need more help for repro, but I also experienced this issue and placing down a space platform resolved the issue for me.
Here is my save if you want to see it in action (on a very simple spaceship): .
(Just open the only space platform, and check the top left asteroid collector.)

Re: [Hrusa][2.0.14] Asteroid collector stuck at computing navigation
Same for me. Attaching my save. Collector can't work on the bottom and top right of the platform. Collector is placed as an example

I've encoutered the same errors too today

+1 Same issue here
Adding a blueprint of a single structure item fixed it, not even nescessary to actually construct

Re: [Hrusa][2.0.14] Asteroid collector stuck at computing navigation
I have this issue too. Tried moving it, made sure its not nowhere near a chunk border, its collection range isn't overlapping with any others, theres plenty of solar power, theres an inserter pulling from it...idk whats happening. Attaching my save, its the collector on the bottom-left side of the ship

This is slowly destroying my complete space platform. I pause playing until this is fixed

Re: [Hrusa][2.0.14] Asteroid collector stuck at computing navigation
The easy hotfix is just to build and delete a tile next to the collector that is stuck. (it can be just a blueprint)
I will fix it properly soon. Sorry about the inconvenience.
