Train stops and trains en route
Train stops and trains en route
Does a train stop know if a train is en route? I am hoping there is a circuit test I can do to check for that so as not to disable a train stop if it knows that a train is already on the way. I have been having trouble with train stops disabling themselves due to logistic network conditions, but since a train is en route it may get a "no path" error if it can't find a way to the next station without making that stop first. I use terminus stations and have no loops at all my my rail network (just a lot of branching paths that never reconnect elsewhere). So in essence a train going from A to B cannot get back to A unless it actually stops at B first. I want to be able to have my train stops only disable themselves with logistic conditions if no trains are currently pathing there. Is this possible? If so, how complicated would it be to implement?

It's not in the game (at least not in a simple form - poeple do crazy stuff with circuits, but this would be nowhere near straightforward) at the moment.
