Flame turret bonus damage

Yo.
How does flame turret damage from oil type calculate with research. B its base damage and 110% its damage multipler from light oil. R its research % damage bonus.
A) 110%B*R
B) B+(R+10%)

Lets assume base damage its 90 and research bonus its +70%
So:
A) 90*1.7*1.1=168.3
B) 90*(1.7+0.1)=162

Im trying to understand how much real bonus give in late game light oil. 10% more to final damage or almost nothing.

Also damage from fire (after bitters get killed) hurt my repair bots. If i research too Much flame turret damage they will get destroyed in moment or this research only multi damage from fire stream?

It's multiplicative (10% more final damage). Same thing for bonus damage (such as Combat Shotgun's +20% bonus damage effect or Tank Vehicle machine gun's +100% bonus damage effect) as well as Gun turret's own unique damage upgrade line interacting with Bullet damage upgrade line.
