I accidentaly overwrote my autosave

I accidentaly overwrote my autosave

Hello everyone. I accidentaly overwrote my autosave by playing multiplayer with my friend, I do not have connected game to steam and I dont know if there is something to get my old save back. I spend a lot of time on that world and I didnt realised it will overwrite. Thanks for all help :(.

Once the autosave is overwritten, it cannot be undone.
You might want to save to a normal save file next time. ;)

I'm so upset right now :( do someone knows better way to start new game? Good seed, some game changing mods or something?

Orszy, I assume you checked each of the 3 auto-saves?
Perhaps one of them is old enough to contain your 'original' base...
If none of the 3 auto-saves can help, then I'm afraid you lost the old base.

The best thing you can do is to manually make saves. They will not only save yo ass when you need to roll back,
but they also allow you to go back and make blueprints of the things that worked great in your old base and use that in your new base.
(You need the mod 'blueprint string' for that).

There are some mods that influence the creation of a new map, but most are designed to make it more challenging for the player.
Like the widely used RSO mod. It spreads out resources more than the vanilla game, so you will have to focus more on long train routes.
