Can't automate Boiler's?

Can't automate filling the boilers? Sorry new just learning the ropes.

You have automated them. The inserters will start to insert when the number of coal pieces get lower than 5 (if I recall correctly). And only the number of needed boilers will consume coal to boil the water.

It's the same with furnaces and assemblies (basically everything in the game except chests). Imagine it wouldn't be that way; the first inserter would fill its boiler to the brink even if it doesn't need it before any of the boilers behind it get any coal for themselves. That would be pretty ineffective.
