I get that this game is still in early alpha, and it's not something that you might have though of too much.
Are we allowed to distribute content like videos, mods ect? Can we make money off it? Eg. by youtube monetization?

I'd be nice to know the answers to those questions before going and doing something you then find out you shouldn't have

We would be dumb to not allow it, all this helps us and the comunity. And if you make money by creating videos about Factorio, everybody wins.
So the answer is yes, you are allowed to do that.
