Is it me or is the end -game extremely long and tedious? Once the rocket silo is built , you need to make low density structure, rocket fuel and rocket control units, at this point in the game I am just waiting for everything to be made so I can launch, I don't know maybe I am doing something wrong , any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You may keep expanding while this stuff is built - much more fun than just waiting, and it will actually build faster.

Yup, this. Keep expanding, and you won't have to wait so long for stuff to be made, and you will have things to do for what time it does take.
