You have to feed captured biter nests with Bioflux. But sometimes that spoils inside the biter nest and you can remove spoilage with an inserter.
But what happens when you don't remove the spoilage? Does the burn result output slot just fill up to a stack and then the nest stops producing eggs?
Does it then starve or is this a way to block a nest so you don't have to feed it anymore? Or does it just keep burning Bioflux and throws away the spoilage like it throws away excess biter eggs?
What happens when a captured biter nest overflows with spoilage?
Re: What happens when a captured biter nest overflows with spoilage?
If spoilage builds up in a biter nest due to Bioflux not being removed, the nest will stop producing eggs once its output slot fills up. The nest doesn't "throw away" spoilage like it does with excess eggs, but rather becomes inefficient and stops functioning until the spoilage is cleared. It doesn't "starve" per se, but it can be blocked from producing further eggs.

Great, so nests can be converted, fed for a time and then they never revert back. Good way to put away some captured nest for future demands without having to constantly feed them.
