Hi. I bought Space age but haven't started it yet as I wanted to get used to the other new items in 2.0 on one of my current builds.
I fired it up, disabled the Space age DLC and loaded up one of my factories. Went in and fixed things allowing for the new pumps, the removal of rocket control units, adding the landing pad, etc.
I have hit something though with train stations and I can't figure out what I am missing (and yes I've done some searching but not finding this issue).
I have a Fuel Train in this map and it was set to stop at each stop (not all have the same name as I was learning at the time) and drop fuel, but I have combinators set up that were disabling full stations. It looks like the stations are still getting disabled, but on the fuel train's schedule, the names are not turning red for closed ones...and if the next station is closed, the train is just sitting. The stations themselves have the red light showing closed but the schedule name doesn't reflect that and my guess is that this is causing the train to just sleep.
I know you can set interrupts up and I did set one for the train to go to base and reload the cargo if empty and that worked, but I still can't get it to go to the other stations (which it did fine for the last 50 hours in prior version-Vanilla except for nanobots).
Is this a bug or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance!
Train Station issue in 2.0
Re: Train Station issue in 2.0
That's intended.
Disabled or 0-limit-stations don't get skipped but the train "bugs out".
You do have to solve it with an interrupt.
Have the interrupt condition "no destination or no path" and set the train to a depot station.
Set the schedule to 1 "pickup" station and 1 "dropoff" station and name all the dropoff stations the same.
Then your train should shuttle between the pickup and a dropoff that is active and if no dropoff is active it will go back to the depot and wait there until a dropoff becomes active.

Re: Train Station issue in 2.0
Thanks a bunch. Not sure I like that change as, while I like the interrupts, it seems like it shouldn't "bug out" just move to the next station check.
I will look into your solution though. Thank you again!!!
