How to build ghosts immediately in sandbox/editor?

How to build ghosts immediately in sandbox/editor?

I always wanted to me able to build ghosts/remove built items in sandbox for testing or making blueprints.

Just saw this - https://youtu.be/zJBvw28bQu0?t=1655 , how did he make it built after placing ghost copy?

After entering editor mode with console command "/editor", cut and paste, placing a blueprint and deconstruction planners all construct/deconstruct immediately.

Upgrade planners also make changes immediately, except for item request proxies (eg upgrading modules).

(All this at least by default, I'm not sure if it can be changed.)

It look like a cheaty version of this mod : https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Nanobots, you don't see the robots and there is a little smoke effect when the thing is built. That would fit with the little delay.

I could see the infinite source of oil was coming from this mod : https://mods.factorio.com/mod/EditorExtensions, maybe the gosth building is part of other feature i an not aware of.

Map editor have a setup for instant blueprint, maybe it wasn't the case at the time of the video, the mentionned mods have updated since the video.

typing /editor (twice the first time) in the chat when in game would open the editor mode where you have no character, a fresh inventory, and can craft anything non-fluid without material and instantly. I can't remember for sure if it's by default or you have to tick a box in a menu to have the "instant blueprint" option. Typing it again return your character ( make sure not to be above water :) )

Thanks, it seems like some fast bots, but I found that /editor is exactly what I wanted.

Somehow I didn't test building in editor, thought it was the same as in the sandbox.
