so i have been trying out a lot with my train station,
this happens whatever train is leaving it's unloading station .
in result my whole train station is blocked from a train being stuck at the wrong chain signal
is this a feature ? or did i find a bug? hope it is clear enough? i can provide the save file if needed. i'm not good at making videos of my screen though.
version 2.0.11
thanks in advance !
what happens is that each time the chain signals are blue ( so a possibility for the next train to arrive is still there) if the train from the other station leaves at this moment, the signal does not reset itself and keeps in storage the previous statement .chain signal is not responding properly
Re: chain signal is not responding properly
Blue means at least one path is open and at least one path is closed.
Red means no paths are open or the following block is occupied.
Green means all paths are open.
What is shown in the screenshots is all conforming to this, if you still think something is wrong, explain exactly what you expect to be shown instead and why please.

Re: chain signal is not responding properly
Your chain signal placing isn't correct. At the stations, you have one regular signal directly in front of the station and a chain signal behind the unloading area. This chain signal is misplaced. It should be a regular signal. It goes red, if a train is at a station, and this red is mirrored by all chain signals behind it, up to your stacker. So it will avoid any train entering the outgoing track from your stacker unless the area in front of a station is really empty.
The signals in front of the stations don't matter for this case. They separate your station area from the rail network but take no part of your stacker setup. Using chain signals behind them is wrong.

When in doubt, at all forks / intersections, for all branches :
- chain signal in
- non-chain signal out
- chain signal in
- non-chain signal out

Re: chain signal is not responding properly
it looks like the third rail from the right is missing chain signal so i suspect trains are allowed to pass a normal signal way above out of the screenshot and the chain signal at the bottom is their first one at which they stop at.
