How do I cope with the power demand of (mega)bases?

Don't know how to use a machine? Looking for efficient setups? Stuck in a mission?

How do I cope with the power demand of (mega)bases?

I am planning to build a ~3k spm megabase and I have all my blueprints ready for it. When I did the calculations I figured out that my beacons (there are around 5,7k of them) require 2,88TW of energy ALONE. Building a 3TW nuclear reactor or solar panel array seems ridiculous, as they would be huge and would probably destroy my computer.

Am I doing something wrong here or are there any good mods that don't really change the base game and give easy access to such power?

It looks like you did a mistake in calculations somewhere, because 2,88TW for 5700 entities works to be 500MW per entity, while beacons consume 480kW, three orders of magnitude less.
