How to reset achievements

Hi ,

i am using the latest version of the game Factorio_x64_1.1.107.
i noticed that the achievements do not reset when even when i start a new game disabling mods.
I installed below mods ,

after that i disabled and mods and i even tried uninstalling them , yet i see that when ever i start a new game or load existing game the acheivements are showing like this ..

is there anything that i have to do solve this. I use the zipped version of the game.

will this delete achievements of all game saves ? or the only the achievements of the new game.

PS: i do not want to delete the achievements of all games i played.

and may i know why the achievements do not reset when i start a new game , it supposed to right ?

I tried deleting the achievements , but it did not work. the option did not highlight

and the achievements did not reset when even i deleted the achievements (by entering DELETE in the textbox) outside of the game. not sure what's happening here.

There are no achievements in game saves, they are global.

However, each achievement can be gotten twice: Once in a "vanilla" game, and once in a modded game.

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to delete the achievements from only one type of game.

Achievements are per game with Steam, not per save. This is why you're having this issue in the first place.

If you really want to be able to get achievements on a new game without erasing your steam ones, you can download the standalone zip version from the site. It doesn't integrate with Steam so it won't get the list from there, and unless you edit the config it has it's own achievements.dat/achievements-modded.dat file in the directory it's unzipped to. Which means none of the achievements will be earned when you load/start a save.

I just noticed, the OP says they are using the zip version of the game in the last line of their first post. Shouldn't they be able to just delete the achievements.dat (and achievements-modded.dat) files?
