Alert Icons Show On Minimap

I remember playing this game a long while ago, back close to Alpha stage, and I could've sworn all alerts showed on the minimap, whether it was the small one or the large one. I keep finding inserters and roboports not powered on. Now when zoomed in on the large map, or near it in person, I'll see the power network icon. However, this same icon is not visible on the large map when overlooking my megabase. Is there a way to toggle alert icons on the minimap? I haven't found much in settings, debug, nor here on the forums. So if anyone has an idea on this that'd be great. I don't like finding these things not connected to my network because no power pole was placed down near it.

This is a common occurence of what we call the Mandela effect.
Basically the evil demiurge is fucking with reality.
There is not much you can do.

No power is not an alert, which is shown. I cannot remember that it was the case in the past

Ok thanks guys. Swore this used to be a thing way back in the day. Maybe I'm wrong though. If it wasn't, then it needs to be. Anyone know any mods for this then?

I don't think it will be necessary with the next update: hovering over the alert will show an arrow pointing to where it is.
