[0.17.2] Item Stack Duplication in Quickbar

Just launched into a new game and immediately ran into this problem. When moving any item stacks from the inventory to the quickbar or within the quickbar, instead of removing the first one and placing it on its new position, the game inexplicably creates a new stack on every field you click on. Additionally, any attempt to remove those new stacks is unsuccessful and merely draws the black hand icon over the original.

I'm apparently the only one for which this problem has appeared so far, but the usual suspects - scanning the files and relocating them to a different partition - haven't worked for me.

It is, however, weird and confusing and I don't understand why it acts this way.

It did get me few times too. You'd expect that if you pick up a shortcut and click somewhere else you will move it not copy
(And save you a middle click)

We should start a pool for how long it is before we're all so used to it, we think people who don't understand it are the ones with the problem.

The quickbar icons are hotlinks to the items into the inventory. So you're creating more links to the same item

Try the middle mouse key.

Alright, thank you all for the replies! It's certainly something to get used to, but seems like an interesting approach overall.
