Personal Robo-Port Assistance

So, I have a few robo-ports installed in my MK-2 armor but I don't seem to have any robots in it. How do I get the robots into the robo-port?

You just need to have them in your main inventory or quickbar and they will work

Ah, so I need to carry them around with me. Makes sense I guess. I thought maybe they needed to be loaded into the ports like the large ones.
