How are curved rails built now?

I no longer have a curved rails item to build, only straight rails. Additionally I could not figure out how to make the rails curve in the rail planner that was added. Are there supposed to be curved rail items and I should be reinstalling the game? I've unlocked the three railway related techs, "railway", "automated rail transportation", and "rail signals".

Solved this eventually. I was not dragging out the shadowed version far enough and I guess you cannot build curved individually now.

How do you get into the rail planner?

Hover the mousepointer on an existing piece of track. A green triangle appears, click it and rail planner activates. Now you can drag the desired rail track.

Yeah the rail planner is a bit confusing at first. If you would like a visual demonstration, I just recently made a tutorial video going over all the new train stuff, including the rail planner.
