When bots are repairing an entity, they "flit" about from place to place around the entity until repairs are complete. When they make those movements, they switch from the "working" animation to the "motion" animation, but some sort of glitch occurs where the bot will flip between directly opposing direction frames as it moves. Gif below, slowed down to 1/10th speed for illustration purposes.
I spotted this when working on a new bot model and thought I had gotten the definition wrong, but was able to reproduce this with untouched vanilla bots as well. It was just more noticeable with the model I'm using - and is more likely to occur in modded scenarios where you have entities with a lot of hit points that are slower to repair.
