[kovarex] [0.17.53] Train Wagon Limits in Blueprints Lost After Reload

Post by MrGrim »

I can reliably reproduce this with the following steps:

* Take a blueprint of a train with wagon inventory limits set (the "bar" field in the blueprint json).
* Save the blueprint in your inventory.
* Save the game and reload the save.
* The "bar" field is missing and the deployed train has no inventory limits set.

I was working with justarandomgeek in the Discord server with this one, and he was able to reproduce this as well.

Thanks!

Re: [0.17.53] Train Wagon Limits in Blueprint Exported to Library Lost After Reload

Post by justarandomgeek »

Turns out the library isn't involved either - just having the blueprint item in the inventory and saving/loading the bar gets lost from the blueprint. I'm stumped as to how though, everywhere I've looked it seems like it is saving/loading it properly!

Curious. I've edited the original post title and reproduction steps to remove the library parts. Thanks for looking into it!

Thanks for the report, it is fixed for the next release now.
This issue was potentially quite serious as it could obviously cause desyncs, so fixing this could save us a lot of confusion in the future.
